Slice eggplant, sprinkle with salt, and let drain for 20 minutes.

Pat eggplant slices dry, and arrange on air fryer basket.

Brown eggplant at 400 degrees in air fryer, then flip and brown other side.

Put a dollop of sauce on each eggplant slice, then top with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Air fry for another 2 minutes, until cheese melts.
