Make almond crumb topping
Combine sliced almonds, butter, sugar, and cinnamon in a mini-food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
Combine dry ingredients
Combine the dry ingredients for the cake in a large bowl (flour, almond flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder).
Whisk wet ingredients
Whisk together 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and melt 5.5 tablespoons of butter in separate bowl.
Combine wet and dry ingredients
Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined, then stir in 1 chopped green apple.
Pour batter into springform pan. Sprinkle almond crumb topping over the top. Bake 35-40 min at 350 degrees.
