Easy  Cherry Danish

This Cherry Danish recipe features buttery puff pastry filled with sweetened cream cheese and fresh cherries. 

Ingredients Needed: Puff pastry dough, fresh cherries, powdered sugar, egg, cream cheese, and vanilla extract.

Roll out a sheet of puff pastry dough into a 10.5-inch square.

Slice into 9 squares, putting back in the refrigerator if it warms up too much.

Make the cream cheese filling by combining  cream cheese, powdered sugar, and  vanilla extract.

Dollop cream cheese mixture on each square, top with 3 cherry halves, then egg wash corners and squeeze together.

Chill for 30 minutes, then arrange on sheet pan and brush with egg wash.

Bake for 25 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve. Deliciously easy cherry danishes!
