Roll out a sheet of puff pastry dough and cut into 9 squares.
Make the cream cheese filling by combining 4 oz. cream cheese, 1.5 oz. powdered sugar, and 1/2 t. vanilla extract.
Dollop 1 T. cream cheese mixture onto each pastry square, top with 3 cherry halves, then egg wash corners and squeeze together.
Chill for 30 minutes, then brush with egg wash and bake for 25 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
