Pan-Seared Filet Mignon 

This Pan-Seared Filet Mignon is restaurant-caliber dining in the comfort of your own home. A perfect romantic dinner!

Only 7 Ingredients:  Filet mignon, garlic, shallots, red wine, dijon mustard, thyme, and butter.

Finely chop shallots and cut 2 tablespoons of butter into small chunks.

Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a large heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steaks until browned on the bottom, then flip.

When steaks are cooked to your liking with both sides seared, remove and set aside.

Melt 2 tablespoons butter in same skillet, then sauté shallots until lightly browned.

Add 1 cup red wine, 1 teaspoon mustard, thyme sprig, and crushed garlic and simmer until slightly thickened.

Remove thyme and garlic, then gradually whisk in chilled butter cubes. Season with salt and pepper.

Serve steaks drizzled with red wine sauce. The perfect steak dinner!
