Roll out dough, top with fillings
Cover each piece of puff pastry with a layer of prosciutto, leaving a ½-inch border free. Sprinkle with gruyère and chopped fresh sage.
Roll up dough, then chill
Paint border with egg wash, then roll up lengthwise as tightly and gently as possible. Press gently along the edge to seal. Chill in freezer for 30 minutes.
Slice and bake
Remove rolls from freezer when firm, and cut into ⅓-inch slices. Arrange onto sheet pans, then bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees F.
Ready to serve!
Remove from oven and let cool slightly on sheet pan. Serve warm!
