Fig Jam

This easy fig jam is perfect on toast or with a cheese plate. Just simmer ripe fresh figs with honey and balsamic vinegar, then blend. So delicious!

Ingredients Needed: figs, balsamic vinegar, honey, sugar, and vanilla extract.

Stem figs, then chop.

Combine figs, sugar, honey, water, balsamic vinegar, and  vanilla extract in a saucepan.

Bring to a boil, then turn down heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Let cool, then blend with an immersion blender or food processor.

Scrape into jars and refrigerate for up to a week. (or freeze for longer!)

Serve this easy fig jam on toast, dollop on yogurt, or with a cheese plate.
