Fig Salad

This fig salad contains baby spinach tossed in a balsamic vinaigrette, then topped with fresh figs, blue cheese, proscuitto, and lightly caramelized pecans.

Ingredients Needed: figs, pecans, maple syrup, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, baby spinach, blue cheese, and prosciutto.

Toss pecans with maple syrup and bake for 10 minutes, until fragrant.

Make vinaigrette by whisking together vinegar, maple syrup, and oil. Season with salt and pepper.

Quarter or halve figs, depending on size.

Dress the greens with vinaigrette, then top with figs, blue cheese crumbles, and pecans.
