Notes
Storage Tips: You can make this smoothie in advance and store it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. The best way to store it is in a container with an airtight lid, like a mason jar. Shake well or put it back in the blender to mix again before drinking. If you blend it, you can add an ice cube or two to thicken it up more.Expert Tips: Control how thick your smoothie is by adjusting the amount of liquid you add. Put in less liquid for a thicker smoothie, or add a handful of ice. Put in more liquid for a thinner consistency.Note that you can use either fresh or frozen fruit for this recipe. Try fresh strawberries if they are available, and add some ice to make the smoothie texture thicker. Or use frozen strawberries and a frozen banana (freeze an overripe one so you have bananas for smoothies at any time). In that case, you can either add more coconut water to get the right smoothie consistency, or keep the texture super thick to make this into a smoothie bowl.
